doublejack: luckyshirt: Balcon II — Philippe Ramette (via are2) This reminds me of a sci-fi story I read once, where the wealthy had “homes” where each door into a new room was really a portal into somewhere else in the galaxy.  So you would walk from your living room overlooking Central Park in Manhattan into your kitchen on the surface of Phobos, with its panoramic view of Mars, say. Also, it makes me dizzy.
